Tailored Living® Featuring Premier Garage® Teams Up with George to the Rescue and Budget Blinds to Renovate the Boys and Girls Club in Newark, New Jersey
Tailored Living featuring Premier Garage and its sister company, Budget Blinds, recently partnered with NBC's popular home improvement show George to the Rescue to renovate The Boys and Girls Club in Newark, NJ. The program showcases a series of remodeling projects that home improvement guru, George Oliphant, takes on for families and community organizations in need.
Recently aired on April 27th, the episode features the renovation of a teen room that supports a number of structural programs for nearly 200 youth members on a daily basis! The Boys and Girls Club of Newark estimates that nearly 50 percent of Newark teens will fail to graduate from high school; making this one of the club's primary goals to improve this future statistic. With such an ambitious goal to fulfill, the club was in need of help and resources to transform this room into a safe haven fostering responsibility, growth, and encouragement.
Delighted to help with this opportunity, Tailored Living featuring Premier Garage stepped in to install cabinets and storage space for the teen room. Utilizing their 3D interactive design software, D'Vinci, Tailored Living featuring Premier Garage showcased new organizational systems that included an entertainment center and storage areas for computers, books, and personal belongings. In addition to extra storage space, Tailored Living featuring Premier Garage coated the floor with their special Premier Garage epoxy coating to provide a slip-resistant surface that not only freshens up the room, but allows for easy maintenance!
Renovating the room for the Boys and Girls Club of Newark was such a rewarding experience for the Tailored Living featuring Premier Garage team. A huge thanks goes out to franchisees Jay Feingold, Charlie Dennis, and the rest of the Northern New Jersey Tailored Living featuring Premier garage crew!
