After returning to his hometown roots in Compton, CA, this three-time purple recipient and proud marine veteran was trying to make a life for himself and his growing family, but following the injuries sustained during his three tours in Iraq, simple home improvement tasks became difficult. Through splitting time between school and giving back to fellow veterans, Corporal Sherman Watson lacked the time and funds to accomplish the home improvement projects needed to make his house a better and safer place to raise his children.
